A Vehicle Trajectory Extraction Method for Traffic Simulating Modeling

Vehicle driving behavior in urban traffic environment is interactive and complex. In order to simulate the of real vehicles, it needs rely on a large number vehicle trajectory data. However, making simulated model more consistent with situation, dataset needed. Therefore, this paper proposes method automatically extract accurate from video captured by UAV camera. The proposed computer vision obtains detecting then tracking trajectory, calculates relevant parameters vehicle, such as position, speed direction. extracted data can be used for simulation modeling. experimental results show that effective reliable.
